writing a charter
As education round tables continue, volunteers survey local parents on their interests and needs in New Orleans public schools. Feedback from both the surveys and round tables motivate Josh to write a charter for a new school – Bricolage Academy.
Josh organizes education round tables and discussion groups among parents in neighborhoods across New Orleans and visits excellent schools across the country.
Josh participates in 4.0 Schools Essentials program, starting a partnership that continues throughout Bricolage’s incubation and influences the role innovation could play at the school.
Bricolage Academy founder, Josh Densen, explores public schools in New Orleans as a parent and recognizes the need for schools that are equally focused on academic excellence, educational equity and student diversity.
