What is your favorite book? A childhood favorite would be The Giving Tree, I remember the first time I read it cover to cover on the edge of my mom’s bed. It’s the first book I remember “reading,” and I’ve read it hundreds of times since. The last book I couldn’t put down was Abraham Verghese’s Cutting for Stone.

What interests you most about Bricolage?
The opportunity to show New Orleans what is truly possible in school

What is your favorite memory of elementary school?
My favorite memory of elementary school was Mr. Faust reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe each day.  After reading, we were always treated to a piece of Turkish Delight that Mr. Faust would buy at Maison Blanche on Canal Street
